Glen Rose Inn and Suites, Glen Rose Heights Apartments get facelift

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Inn and Suites and Glen Rose Heights Apartments are getting closer to unveiling top to bottom remodels thanks to outside developer, Cosmic Cowboys Investment Group. The group is not from Glen Rose, but it has frequented the area for over 25 years, dedicating its full attention to the apartment project and renovation since January 2022.

Heritage Park gets ready for the holidays

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Somervell County Convention and Visitors Bureau was busy at work Tuesday preparing Heritage Park for the Holiday season. Kelly Harris of the CVB put out an open request for community volunteers to help with decorations, and locals Ann Carver, Anthony Walker, Angelica Smith, Marsha Waldrep and Radonna Goetz answered the call.

Ginn is 4-H Member of the Month

GLEN ROSE — Grace Ginn has won 4-H Club Member of the Month for November. Ginn is the 11-yearold daughter of Jill and Scott Ginn and currently attends Glen Rose Junior High School, and she has been a member of 4-H for three years and participates in the Ag Product ID and the Swine Project, winning fifth place with the junior team for AG Product ID in 2022, although she enjoys her activities in the Swine Project best.

Fall Music in the Air

The Voice of Glen Rose High School Varsity Mixed Choir, along with the GRJH Varsity Girls Choir, GRJH Non-Varsity Girls Choir, GRJH Boys Choir and the GRJH Sixth-Grade Choir held their Fall Concert on Monday night at the Glen Rose High School Auditorium. The choirs were directed by Choir Director Samuel Teal and student-teacher Barrett Monk, and accompanied by Stephanie Anderson.
