GLEN ROSE – A $100,000 lawsuit filed by Mayor Pro-Tem Chip Joslin against the City of Glen Rose and City Administrator Michael Leamons has been resolved without a monetary award, but Joslin is once again eligible for rehire by the city, according to Joslin’s attorney C. Davis Chapman.
AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today encouraged Texans to remain vigilant during increased wildfire activity this week as the State of Texas continues ongoing coordinated wildfire response efforts through the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM). Critical fire danger and widespread drought conditions have resulted in multiple wildfires continuing to burn across Texas, including the Chalk Mountain Fire in Somervell County and the 1148 Fire in Palo Pinto County. Both fires have caused local officials to issue voluntary evacuation orders for residents.
GLEN ROSE — It won’t be long before dinosaurs of all colors begin popping up in and around the Dinosaur Capital of Texas. Right now, there are plain white dinosaurs dotted throughout town, but soon they will be covered with vibrant colors, putting the City of Glen Rose on display for all to see.
