GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose boys tennis team had first- and second-place finishes in boys doubles en route to winning the team title on Thursday, March 6, at the annual Nick Conte Classic at the Tiger Tennis Courts.

GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose junior Marki Sandlin twirled a complete-game one-hit shutout on Tuesday night in leading the Lady Tigers to an 11-0 victory over Lipan at Lady Tiger Field.

GLEN ROSE — After losing their first two games to open the season, the Glen Rose Tigers have won five of their last six games, including four of five at the Harley “Hogg” Sinclair Memorial last week at Tiger Field.

DUBLIN — The Glen Rose Lady Tigers had one lifter qualify for state and three medalists at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Class 4A Region 2 meet on Friday, Feb. 28, at Dublin High School.

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Runnin’ Tigers, who finished second in District 6-4A and advanced to the second round of the Class 4A Div. II players, were well-represented on the all-district teams that were announced last week.

GLEN ROSE — Lily Melton and Alexis Rynders have been synonymous with Glen Rose basketball as starters for the last four years for the Lady Tigers. It’s only fitting that they go out arm in arm.

DECATUR — Glen Rose sophomore Clark Anderson (SHW) brought home the Glen Rose Tigers’ lone medal at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Class 4A Region 2 meet last Saturday at Decatur High School.
