GLEN ROSE — Somervell County voters will cast ballots in a special election on Nov. 4 at the Expo, located at 202 Bo Gibbs Blvd. off U.S. Highway 67.

GLEN ROSE — State Rep. Helen Kerwin, on Oct. 2., presented the Somervell County Hospital District board members with a ceremonial copy of House Bill 2014, the new state law that restructures how the district’s directors are elected.

GLEN ROSE — The Somervell County Commissioners Court unanimously approved an agreement appointing Levi Dallas Clements as the new Somervell County Fire Department chief.

GLEN ROSE — The Somervell County Commissioners Court voted Sept. 26 to allow the sale of fireworks in celebration of Diwali, extending the sales period from Oct. 13 through midnight Oct. 22.
