GLEN ROSE- The Glen Rose Somervell County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly luncheon at WhiskyWoods, with refreshments sponsored by Joe Alexander's Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck. Economic Diversification The Next Move Group suggested reducing Glen Rose's reliance on tourism by attracting manufacturing industries.

President Brian Thomas led the meeting, sharing details of programs after Somervell County Sheriff Alan West addressed the crowd.

BROWNWOOD — Glen Rose senior BrookLynn Peterson scored 14 points and senior Alexis Rynders and and senior Lily Melton added 13 and 10 more, respectively, in leading the Lady Tigers to an easy 48-23 road victory over Brownwood on Tuesday night.
