GLEN ROSE — When a team is 0-5, like the Glen Rose Tigers were, it’s easy for them to get down on themselves, especially after suffering two close defeats in their last two games when they could have won on the game’s final play.

GLEN ROSE — After closing out the first half of district play with back-to-back losses, the Glen Rose Lady Tigers got back to their winning ways with a pair of wins over Mineral Wells and Graham to open up district play.

ALVARADO — For the second time in as many games, the Glen Rose Tigers had a chance to win on the final play, and for the second time in a row, they came up empty.

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Lady Tigers remained unbeaten in District 6-4A play with a convincing 25-7, 25-18, 25-3 victory over Brownwood on Tuesday night at Tiger Arena.

WACO — The Glen Rose Tigers led by 19 points with just over three minutes left in the third quarter last Friday night at Robinson, but they wouldn’t score again as the Rockets posted a thrilling 41-40 come-from-behind victory to hold the Tigers winless in 2025. The Rockets scored 20 unanswered points, and took their first lead of the game since leading 7-0 with 40 seconds left in the contest on a 24-yard run by Evan Moreno, who scored three times in the contest.

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Lady Tigers opened District 6-4A play Tuesday night with a 25-17, 22-25, 25-14, 25-19 victory over Mineral Wells at Tiger Arena.
