GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Lady Tigers opened the 2024-25 basketball season on Wednesday with the first officially practice, and who wouldn’t be pumped up for the upcoming season with three starters and six letterwinners returning from a team that went 33-4 last year and advanced to the regional finals. “We graduated some outstanding players in Aimee Flippen (ACU), Grace Booth (Tarleton) and Jewell Morris,” Glen Rose girls basketball coach Ramsey Ghazal said.
GODLEY — The Glen Rose Tigers began their title defense of their eighth straight district championships Friday night with a convincing 45-35 victory over Godley to open District 4-4A play.
