SAN ANGELO — Eleven student-athletes on the Angelo State University track and field teams, including Kylie Frush of Glen Rose combined to earn eight titles in individual events at the 2025 Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships May 1-3 in Portales, New Mexico. For the ASU Rams, senior Solomon Odonkor of Accra, Ghana, won the 200 meters with a time of 20.79 seconds.

BROWNWOOD — Glen Rose’s Joe Randell went 3 for 4 with a double, homer and an RBI, and Adrian Sanchez added three hits in leading the Tigers to a 7-5 win over Brownwood last week for their second district win of the season.
GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose golf coach Owen Clifton gave his team one day to celebrate their second-place finish at the Class 4A Region 1 golf meet two weeks ago, and then it was back to work for the Lady Tigers in preparation for their first-ever state berth. “We hope this will become the expectation, not the exception,” Clifton said.
