GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Runnin’ Tigers, who finished second in District 6-4A and advanced to the second round of the Class 4A Div. II players, were well-represented on the all-district teams that were announced last week.

WACO — The girls doubles team of Carly Wright and Joslin Young continue to roll in the 2025 tennis season as they notched their third victory of the season with an 8-7 (7-5) over Thrall at the Waco Regional Tennis & Fitness Center meet on Feb. 27.
GLEN ROSE — Lily Melton and Alexis Rynders have been synonymous with Glen Rose basketball as starters for the last four years for the Lady Tigers. It’s only fitting that they go out arm in arm.
DECATUR — Glen Rose sophomore Clark Anderson (SHW) brought home the Glen Rose Tigers’ lone medal at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Class 4A Region 2 meet last Saturday at Decatur High School.
GLEN ROSE — The Squaw Valley Men’s Golf Association will kick off the season on March 15 with its Code Red Tournament to be contested on the Links Course.
FRANKSTON — The Glen Rose Tigers boys and girls golf teams opened the season Feb. 17-18 at the chilly East Texas Challenge contested at Pine Dunes Golf Resort.
ALEDO — Six Glen Rose Tigers placed in the top five at the district powerlifting meet on Feb. 20 at Aledo High School to lead the Tigers to a fifth-place finish at the event.
GLEN ROSE — For the second straight tournament, the team of Joslin Young and Carly Wright won girls doubles as they defeated the team of Whitefield/Mullins, also of Glen Rose, 6-0, 6-0, at the weather-delayed Jurassic Classic at the Tiger Tennis Courts.
