The top-ranked Glen Rose Lady Tigers will see their fair share of ranked opponents this weekend when they tip it off in the Glen Rose Lions Club Tournament at Tiger Arena.

GLEN ROSE — Three Glen Rose Lady Tigers scored in double-figures Saturday en route to a 51-36 victory over Lipan to capture the Lipan Tournament Championship. The Lady Tigers (10-0) went 5-0 in the tournament that began last Thursday and posted wins over Rice, Martin’s Mill, Ponder, New Home and Lipan.

GLEN ROSE — The Glen Rose Runnin’ Tigers entered the Thanksgiving Break with an undefeated record after posting three consecutive wins over Springtown, Dublin and Paradise. The Tigers are now 5-0 in the young season, and they will be back in action on Tuesday night at Tiger Arena when they host Grandview.

GLEN ROSE — Early into the 2022-23 girls basketball season, the Glen Rose Lady Tigers are 10-0 and already have victories Lipan (No. 1 Class 2A); New Home (No. 2 2A); Martin’s Mill (No. 8 2A); Midlothian Heritage (No. 21 5A); Holliday (No. 4 3A).

SAN ANGELO — The ninth-ranked Glen Rose Tigers have made their beds scoring early and often in 2022, and on Friday night, the Tigers did just that in the 63-12 rout over Fort Stockton in the area round of the Class 4A Div. II playoffs at Angelo State University.
