GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose’s Caden Smith scored a teamhigh 17 points and Zeke Niedziela added 16 more in leading the Tigers to a 5146 victory over Keene on Tuesday night at Tiger Arena. The Tigers, who trailed by as many as eight in the third quarter, improve to 2-0 with the win after beating Iowa Park in the season opener on Saturday in Lipan.

The Lady Tigers, who beat Big Spring and Sanger in the first two rounds of the Class 4A volleyball playoffs, dropped a 23-25, 19-25, 25-27 decision to the Lady Eagles, the defending Class 4A champion, on Monday night at Brock High School in the regional quarterfinals.
