HICO - The Glen Rose girls cross country team had three runners place in the top eight in leading the Lady Tigers to a second-place finish at the Bluebonnet Invitational on Wednesday in Hico. “Hico is one of the hilliest, toughest courses that we run all year,” Glen Rose girls cross country coach Ramsey Ghazal said.

GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose outside hitter Matti Young and setters Avery Gray and Alex Arrington posted double-doubles, but it wasn’t enough as the No. 13 Lady Tigers dropped a 25-17, 23-25, 23-25, 17-25 decision to Godley on Tuesday night at Tiger Arena.
Tiger Tennis drops district match at Brownwood
BROWNWOOD - The Glen Rose Tennis Team opened district play on Tuesday with a 10-2 loss to Brownwood. Only four of the seven boys singles matches and five of the seven girls singles matches were contested due to inclement weather.
Smith named GAC Offensive Player of the Week
GLEN ROSE — For the second time in as many weeks, a former Glen Rose Lady Tiger has brought home Great American Conference volleyball player of the week honors. Harding outside hitter Logan Smith, a 2019 graduate of GRHS, was named the GAC Offensive Player of the Week after the Lady Bisons went 4-0 and didn’t drop a set at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational last week in Owensboro, Kentucky.
