GLEN ROSE — Glen Rose outside hitter Matti Young and setters Avery Gray and Alex Arrington posted double-doubles, but it wasn’t enough as the No. 13 Lady Tigers dropped a 25-17, 23-25, 23-25, 17-25 decision to Godley on Tuesday night at Tiger Arena.
BROWNWOOD - The Glen Rose Tennis Team opened district play on Tuesday with a 10-2 loss to Brownwood. Only four of the seven boys singles matches and five of the seven girls singles matches were contested due to inclement weather.
GLEN ROSE — For the second time in as many weeks, a former Glen Rose Lady Tiger has brought home Great American Conference volleyball player of the week honors. Harding outside hitter Logan Smith, a 2019 graduate of GRHS, was named the GAC Offensive Player of the Week after the Lady Bisons went 4-0 and didn’t drop a set at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational last week in Owensboro, Kentucky.

FERRIS - Glen Rose Team Tennis picked up its first win of the year a little over a week ago with a 15-4 road decision over Ferris. The Tigers, who lost 19-0 in their season opener to Granbury, bounced back and won behind clean sweeps by girls in singles and doubles.
