Watson on field with Browns as legal storm swirls around QB

BEREA, Ohio — Deshaun Watson was impossible to miss in his orange jersey, pants and helmet — the one with "Watson" taped on the front just in case anyone wasn't sure. As he showed off his right arm with tight spirals, engaged in friendly trash talk, smiled and laughed while interacting with new teammates, the Browns quarterback didn't look a bit distracted by the storm swirling around him.

Nance tabbed District 6-4A MVP

GLEN ROSE — Following the conclusion of the 2022 softball season, the Glen Rose Lady Tigers are reaping the rewards of a 24-7 mark and a second consecutive District 6-4A championship. When the district honors were announced earlier this week, 10 Lady Tigers and coach Kiel Miller received postseason plaudits that included the most valuable player, defensive player of the year, newcomer of the year, four first-team selections and coach of the year.

Frush places 6th in the triple jump at the UIL Class 4A State Track Meet

Glen Rose senior Kylie Frush placed sixth in the triple jump at the UIL Class 4A State Track Meet on Thursday, May 12, at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas. Frush posted a jump of 37 feet, 8.50 inches at state, and it was less than an inch out of fifth place. Midlothian Heritage’s Leah Anderson won the event with a jump of 40-03.75.
