GLEN ROSE - Mary Satterfield and Joey Adams are college bound. The Glen Rose High School seniors will be joining the ranks of incoming college freshman at their respective colleges in the fall. The Reporter asked Satterfield and Adams all about their future plans.

Mary Satterfield

Q: Why did you choose the college you were accepted to?

A: I chose Angelo State because they have one of the best animal science programs in the state and it wasn’t as competitive as Texas A&M’s was.

Q: How did it feel to get your acceptance letter?

A: I felt so excited that I got accepted! I actually didn’t believe that I got accepted until I read my letter.

Q: You’re leaning towards majoring in animal science, why did you chose that major?

A: I would love to major in animal science so that I can help horses with behavior problems.

Q: What are you looking forward to at college?

A: I looking forward to making new friends that have the same interest as me. I’m also looking forward to being able to help horses that have been traumatized.
