Volunteer Opportunities

The patients of Alpha Omega Hospice need volunteer visits for emotional support, companionship, pet visits, music and more. Adults and Teens, 16 and up, spend an hour or two a week after orientation. Scholarship Opportunities

The J. M. McCroskey Memorial Scholarship Fund of the Somervell County Citizen’s Association will award a $1,000 college scholarship to a deserving 2016 graduating senior of Glen Rose High School. They will also award a second scholarship for $500 to a senior student who expects to study art at the collegiate level.
