GLEN ROSE – The Tiger JV White baseball teams walked away, literally and figuratively, from the field Tuesday with a 15-2 win over visiting Hillsboro.

Glen Rose could still be walking around the bases had the time limit not of been reached during the nine-run fourth inning. The bases were loaded with Tigers with one out when the limit was reached.

The Tigers recorded 16 free passes, which included nine in the fourth inning alone, while collecting five hits. It was a perfect example of taking what the other team gives you.

Glen Rose is slated for three games Thursday as part of a season-ending district tournament. First pitches for the three home games will be at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
