AUSTIN - Hon. Susanne Graves, Somervell County Treasurer, joined hundreds of colleagues from around the state at the 44th annual County Treasurers' Continuing Education Seminar held April 18 - 21. The annual seminar offers treasurers the opportunity to learn new and vital information to better serve Texans.

The seminar sponsor was the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. The graduate school provides continuing education opportunities through various seminars, institutes and conferences, many of which are planned and conducted in collaboration with professional organizations of public officials, such as the County Treasurers' Association of Texas.

The annual seminar helps county treasurers complete their minimum continuing education requirements, which are required by the state. The seminar offered 20 hours of credit to treasurers attending all of the sessions, five hours of Public Funds Investment Act credit and five hours of continuing education for the County Investment Academy.
