The tough start for Glen Rose football this season has been against teams that have combined to lose just two of 16 games in all.
However, the Tigers have their sights set on their first victory this Friday night against 1-3 Lake Worth.
The Frogs are coming off a 65-7 loss to Krum.
Coach Cliff Watkins’ Tigers fell to 0-4 with a 41-14 loss last Friday night at 4-0 Carrollton Ranchview.
The four teams that have beaten Glen Rose in non-district so far have combined record of 14-2. Lake Worth hasn’t been so dominant, with a 1-3 record coming off its 65-7 loss to Krum last Friday.
In the Ranchview contest, quarterback Ethan Hartman tossed two touchdown passes for the Tigers, to Tyler Torres and Davis Shackelford.
