Vendors can sign up now to have a booth at the Glen Rose High School Yearbook Chili Supper and Crafts Fair taking place Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the cafeteria/commons at the high school (900 Stadium Dr.).

The crafts fair will be open from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on the same day as the varsity home basketball games for the Tigers (7:30 p.m.) and Lady Tigers (6:30 p.m.) as they take on Stephenville at Tiger Arena.

This year’s theme is “Heart of a Tiger.”

All of the proceeds earned at the crafts fair will go to fund the GRHS yearbook for 2016-2017, McCormick said.

She noted that students pay $50 per annual, but each one actually costs $100 to have printed. The money gained from the crafts fair helps make up that deficit.

Chili supper tickets will be sold for $5 each with $1 of that going towards a “Heart of a Tiger” scholarship. A silent auction will also be held and 50 percent of that money will also go towards the scholarship.

Crafts will include jewelry, clothing and food. The chili supper will take place at the same time, so visitors will be able to eat while shopping the vendor booths.

Vendors are expected not only from Glen Rose but also from Stephenville and surrounding areas, at a cost of $25 each (maximum two). The vendors can start setting up their booths at 3 p.m. the day of, McCormick said.
