One Somervell County 4-H Club member earned second place and two FFA members took home third place from the huge Fort Worth Stock Show, which ended Saturday.

In the breeding rabbit division, Glen Rose eighth grader Laney Whitefield collected a second-place ribbon.

Also among entrants who attend Glen Rose schools, Will Schmidt earned third place in the market barrow division, and Lane Smajstrla took third place in the market goat category.

Allyson Sherley placed fourth in the market barrow division.

In the highly competitive market steer category, Ashlynn Davis brought home a seventh-place ribbon.

Mikayla Ross was the seventh-place finisher in the market lamb class.

Jake West took eighth place in the market barrow category, and

Jaxson Pillow was ninth in that division.

Also, Payton Alexander's heifer took 14th place.
