The Sherman Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled to only discuss one items during its regular meeting Tuesday at 5 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall, 220 W. Mulberry St.

There are a total of six matters to be considered from requests by the public, but five of those are on the meeting’s consent agenda, which includes items that are considered routine in nature and will be voted on all at once without any discussion.

The one item not on the consent agenda is a request for a variance to allow a 20-foot rear setback for a new residence at 2604 Calgary Drive instead of the normally required 25 feet. The commission’s board of adjustments will consider the item.
