We had much going on the week beginning May 21! On Wednesday of that week we celebrated May birthdays.

May birthday celebrities were Carolyn Eddy, Dorothy Jo Osborn (who turned 94!!), Lou Smith, Kenna Kay Nuckols, Ann Rhodes, Deborah Hartis, Joan Williamson, and Bobbi Liston. Thursday, we honored five Older Texans: Sharon Lawler, Robena Miller, Louise Reynolds, and Tom and Betty Gosdin.

We had quite a crowd for the awards ceremony and lunch. The kitchen staff did a great job in providing the lunch featuring King Ranch chicken.

If you’ve never seen the Center, come on by anytime Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and one of the staff will give you a tour.
