Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas hosts its second summer Discovery Day Wednesday, July 25.
Children entering kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to the museum for hands-on science experiments, history and art.
Gordon Center Discovery Day features two sessions — one at 10 a.m. to noon for kindergartners through second graders, and the other from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for third through fifth graders.
The activity lineup features:
An immigration art project;
Homemade ice cream; and
Science experiments using magnet slime.
