It has become a tradition of sorts.

Local musician Buck Fuffalo, also known as Dustin Meiron, gathers a group of fellow artists and together they host a Christmas concert benefiting Foster’s Home for Children.

The fourth annual event will be held Dec. 8-9 at T-Birds Garage Pub at Melody Mountain Ranch.

“We have eight bands playing on Saturday and it will be all acoustic on Sunday,” Fuffalo said.

Doors will open at 2 p.m. Saturday with the first performance beginning at 3. The Dirty River Boys will headline that night. Doors open at noon on Sunday

This is the first year the Christmas concert will be a two-day event.

“I’d like to turn this into a weekend event so more people can come,” he said. “Last year we raised $3,000 and we used the money to buy presents and give (the foster home) a check. We hope this extra day will help us raise even more money.”

An impressive lineup with more than 30 musicians including Larry Joe Taylor, Matt Hillyer, Dave Perez, Copper Chief, Clayton Landau, Shea Ashier and the Nighthowlers and Cottonwood Crows will perform.

Tickets are on sale now. General admission is $30 and VIP tickets are available for $60, which includes backstage access and dinner.
