Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas presents an evening of Christmas music, food and fellowship with the Irish Rogues, back by popular demand, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8.
Admission is free and no reservations are required.
The Irish Rogues are an authentic, traditional Celtic/Irish Pub band that performs a rich collection of rollicking sing-a-longs, ballads, holiday and Celtic folk music.
The band has appeared regularly at North Texas Irish pubs and Celtic celebrations. Band members have been featured performers at the North Texas Irish Festival in Dallas since the festival started in 1982.
The museum, in historic Thurber, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. It is located at Exit 367 on Interstate 20 between Fort Worth and Abilene.
