FORT WORTH -Lives will be changed and champions will be crowned at RFD-TV’sThe American Rodeoas the event returns to Arlington and Fort Worth this February and March. 

The world’s best bull riders will compete in the Buckin’ Wild competition Wednesday, Feb. 26, for a chance to move on to the semi-finals. Those who advance will potentially compete at the finals on March 7-8 at AT&T Stadium and win part of the $2.4 million in prize money. 

Some of bull riding’s top athletes will be at Cowtown Coliseum this week including Jess Lockwood, Cody Teel, Derek Kolbaba, Eduardo Aparecido, Shane Proctor and 2019 American champion Joao Ricardo Vieira. 

“It is an honor and a privilege to compete for the chance to participate in The American Rodeo finals at AT&T Stadium,” said Shane Proctor, 2011 PRCA World Champion bull rider. “My dream is to use this money to buy more property for raising cattle and to keep our agriculture prosperous. I would love to have something that I can pass down for generations to come as well.“ 

The American Rodeo semi-finals will take place Feb. 24-March 1 at Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards. 

The Bucking Wild event will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. Tickets are availableonlinefor the semi-finals and finals at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. 

“My American dream is to provide the best life possible for my little girl and my wife,” said PBR rider Cody Teel. “That’s the biggest thing. It is the biggest difference-maker in The American Rodeo for me.”
