An accident on Friday (Aug. 21) morning resulted in four Glen Rose residents being flown to Fort Worth hospitals.

According the accident report, at approximately 9:47 a.m. under rainy conditions Sherie Marris lost control of her vehicle on FM 56. The vehicle, which was traveling southbound, went off the road. Marris overcorrected and crossed FM 56. She was unable to control the car's speed and struck a second vehicle.

The other vehicle was driven by Canda Applequist and was carrying two passengers. Marris was alone in her vehicle.

All four individuals were flown to separate Fort Worth hospitals via a medical helicopter. One went to John Peter Smith, one to Harris Methodist and two were transported to Cooks Childrens.

All four were wearing seat belts and no fatalities were reported.
