Glen Rose residents gathered in the pouring rain to honor the memory of Cpl. Rhett Butler on Monday, July 20, the two-year anniversary of his death in Iraq, with a memorial erected at Heritage Park. Best said the memorial was in a beautiful setting and shared a few words about Butler. “We admire him for his courage, bravery and dedication to service,” he said.
