Early voting for the April 13 U.S. Rep. District 17 Republican runoff election will be this week only, April 5-9, in the County Clerk's Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The runoff between Republicans Rob Curnock and Bill Flores being held because in the March primary no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote. Only those voters who voted Republican in the March Primary or who did notvote are eligible to vote in the runoff.
For this Republican runoff the Republican Party will hold election day voting for all precincts in the County & District Courtroom located n the County Annex. On election day the polling place will be open from 7 a.m to 7 p.m.
The winner will take on incumbent Democrat Chet Edwards in November.
Also on the GOP runoff ballot for Texas Supreme Court, Place 3, are Rick Green and Debra Lehrmann. The winner will take on incumbent Democrat Jim Sharp in November.
