Glen Rose High School Theatre students will open the curtain on their latest production this week. Opening night is at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, Friday and Saturday.

Students have rehearsed “The Daughters of Atreus” by Robert Turney. The tragedy was first produced and performed on Broadway in 1936.

The play centers on a failed attempt to rescue Helen of Troy and is wrought with blood and betrayal. Spanning three acts, the characters start their woeful journey at Klytaimnestra’s Palace Mycenae.

Adult tickets for the play are $5 each and students can get in for $3.
