Three alleged offenders took plea bargains while an additional three decided to have their fate decided by a jury last Wednesday.
Haley Brooke Davis and Brandon Jack Clark both pleaded guilty to their indictment charges.
Davis pleaded guilty to forgery of a financial instrument. She will receive five years probation, a fine of $750 and will pay $2,000 in restitution.
Clark pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, more than four ounces less than five pounds, and was sentenced to five years probation, a fine of $750, $104 in restitution and 180 days in a work release program in a county jail.
Michael Cain Gartrell, who was indicted for burglary of a habitation, rejected the stateís offer and requested a jury trial. By rejecting the offer, Gartrell will not be eligible for parole and could face two to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Gartrellís case will be scheduled for trial in approximately 30 days. Howard Dale Taitel, Dillon Reese Baker and Byron Chase Hyles will also be scheduled for jury trials in approximately 30 days.
