Jim Chambers, president and CEO of Town and Country Bank, announced the addition of Cody Stone as vice president and loan officer of the professional team at the Glen Rose bank, located at 405 S.W. Big Bend Trail in Glen Rose.
Stone brings to Town and Country Bank, and the Glen Rose customers, 10 years of banking experience. He has received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Howard Payne University in Brownwood and will graduate with his Masters of Business Administration from Tarleton State University in May 2008.
Stone is very community oriented and understands the importance of community involvement. While he was in Brownwood, Stone was a member of the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program, treasurer of the Brownwood Rotary Club and a member of the Brown County United Way.
Mr. Chambers states, “we are excited to have Cody join our bank and we look forward to him being involved in the Glen Rose community and assisting individuals with meeting their financial goals.”
Thirty years after opening its doors, Town and Country Bank has proven old-fashion values and personalized service haven’t gone out of style. The directors and officers attribute the bank’s warm acceptance to each area’s strong community orientation. “We wanted to create a bank where our friends, neighbors, and business colleagues would feel comfortable. We are a bank that is dedicated to the old-fashion goal of getting to know its customers and their banking needs. Because we recruit expert management that works and lives in the area where each office is located, Town and Country Bank has been able to develop products and services custom fit to the banking needs of everyone in each community – individuals, homeowners, businesses, children and seniors.”
Town and Country Bank is an independent “Main Street” community banking operation with additional locations in Stephenville, Granbury, Bluff Dale and Aledo.
