The Glen Rose City Council will consider approval of a $15,000 budget amendment at their regular monthly meeting Monday.
The issue follows a vote last month to fund half the salary and operations costs for an economic development coordinator.
County officials previously approved an equal expense, splitting the cost with the city.
Billy Huckaby, director of the convention and visitors bureau (CVB), will serve a dual role, promoting events and businesses within the county while working to attract new businesses to the area.
The council will consider moving the $15,000 from the Sewer Capital Improvement fund to the General Fund to cover the expenses related to the position, including a salary increase for Huckaby.
In other items of business, the council will consider granting a five-year property easement agreement with Hollywood and Vine, discuss a franchise agreement with Charter Communications and possible action on the selection of a new law firm to serve the city.
The council will also take action on a request regarding funding of the deck construction at the bird sanctuary.
Finally, reports from Public Works, CVB, Oakdale Park and the city administrator are expected to be heard.
The council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at Town Hall.
