Early voting totals show two local candidates winning in a landslide.
In the race for commissioner, Pct. 3, Republican Kenneth "Woody" Wood led the race over Democrat Marty McPherson.
Wood garnered more than 69 percent of the early vote, compared to McPherson's almost 31 percent.
In the race for constable, Pct. 2, Republican Craig Dodson garnered an overwhelming majority - more than 72 percent - of the early vote over incumbent Democrat Alan Thompson.
Of the 5,662 registered voters across the county, 2,171 cast early ballots, with 86.19 percent of straight party voters - 1,452 - voting Republican.
In the race for the White House, almost 1,800 early votes were cast for Republican candidate Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan.
Republican candidates Ted Cruz, U.S. Senator; Roger Williams, U.S. Representative; Brian Birdwell, State Senator; and J.D. Sheffield, State Representative were also leading their respective races with a large margin of the vote.
