Thanksgiving will be here before you know it and Rhineland Farm's turkeys are in the fields and are thriving and growing. Now is the time to reserve your holiday turkey.
“This is our first year raising the turkeys at our farm,” Samantha Rebstock, who owns Rhineland Farm with her husband, Don, and her family, said. “What a great experience it has been to have them arrive as vulnerable little day old turkey chicks, and watch over them and raise them to be these majestic birds that grace our farm today.”
The farm is offering several heritage breeds this year — White Holland, Narragansett, Bronze, Bourbon Red and Blacks. They range in size from 8 to 20 pounds and cost $5.50 per pound, processed weight.
To reserve a turkey, contact the farm by e-mail at email@example.com. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Please let the farm know if you want a specific size turkey and how many.
A $15 deposit will be required. Please mail to: Samantha Rebstock, 3157 CR 411, Glen Rose, TX 76043. The deadline is Oct. 15.
Processing will take place during the two weeks before Thanksgiving. Customers will be contacted about a pick-up time.
