The 4-B Tax Advisory Board will meet April 6 at 6:15 p.m. in City Council Chambers. After an executive meeting, the board will reconvene in open session to hear public comments on the Water Park and possibly approve the park project.

A free community-wide Easter egg hunt will be held on April 11, at 2 p.m. at the Soccer Park behind the Somervell County Expo Center. Separate areas for preschool age and younger, and older than preschool will be set up. The fifth grade is the age limit. The event is sponsored in part by Rainbow Baptist Church.

The Somervell County Relay for Life will kick off their annual fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. April 24-25 at the Glen Rose Soccer Park. The overnight event is used to help raise money for cancer research.
