The 37th Annual Bluegrass Jamboree will be Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5, in Oakdale Park in Glen Rose, the bluegrass music capital of Texas. Early bird activities begin with shade tree pickiní all week.

Concert begins on Saturday at 7 p.m. with the Texas Trailblazers from Burleson until 7:45 p.m.; then the WST Bluegrass Band from Austin will play until 8:30 p.m.; Honeycreek High way from here in Glen Rose will follow until 9:15 p.m. when the Ellis County Bluegrass band from Maypearl will round out the evening.

Admission is free with camping available for $20 per night and cabins by reservation only. There will be may more bands and lots of pickiní all weekend long, so come on out and bring the family.

A snack bar will have hamburgers, barbecue, and soft drinks and Chachiís Mexican Buffet will provide the Saturday evening meal. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park.
