The Somervell County Ministerís Fellowship invites the Glen Rose community to attend an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at the Glen Lake Methodist Camp ampitheater. The†† service will be held indoors in case of rain.

Memorial United Methodist Church of Walnut Springs invites the community to attend an Easter sunrise service featuring a hayride to a hilltop to watch the sun rise. Meet at 6:30 a.m. at the barn at the W.K. Gordon Ranch located on Farm Road 203. In case of rain during the week and muddy conditions, the service will take place at 7 p.m. at the church located on State Highway 144 in Walnut Springs. A light breakfast will be served after the service.

The Somervell County Cancer Support Group holds its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. in the conference room of Glen Rose Nursing Home. Refreshments will be provided by the nursing home. For information, call Patricia West at 897-4500.

A youth fair meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Glen Rose High School Ag classroom. The agenda includes electing officers.

Welcome wounded veterans to Cleburne at a 2 p.m. celebration for Ride 2 Recovery, a bicycle rally that began in San Antonio and will enter Cleburne. Dance teams, cheerleaders, bands and city and county officials will participate. Bring lawn chairs to the Cleburne High School track on Nolan River Road.
