Glen Rose and the In Country Vietnam Motorcycle Club will welcome hundreds of motorcyclists to the Rumble of the Paluxy Motorcycle Rally this Friday - Sunday.

The event, which will wind down on Veterans Day, is a family-friendly event organized to raise money for veterans in need.

The majority of the action for Rumble on the Paluxy will take place on the Historic Courthouse Square and kick off at 2 p.m. Friday. Vendors, interactive displays, music, bike games and more will line the downtown streets. Vendors will remain open until 8 p.m. Friday and then also set up shop 9 a.m.-7 pm. Saturday.

A veteranís tribute ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a motorcycle show 3-6 p.m.

The public is invited to come shop the vendors and be a spectator at the other fun activities.

To participate in the bike games, enter the bike show and other events, you must register and obtain a rally wristband. You can register online at or on day of the event in front of Town Hall.

The public is also invited to the Confederate Railroad concert at the Texas Amphitheatre at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Confederate Railroad is known for their high-energy combination of honky-tonk rockers, sensitive ballads and offbeat humor.

Local favorite, Brady Hulsey Band will open the concert.

Everyone who registers for the rally will gain free access to the concert with the show of their wristband but it will also be open to the public for an admission fee of $15 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door the evening of the event.

The In Country†Vietnam Motorcycle Club is a wholly benevolent not-for-profit federally tax-exempt war veterans motorcycle club. Their motto is "Vets Helping Vets" and their purpose is to provide moral, mental, and physical support to their brothers and sisters as well as other veterans, their families, widows, and children. They also assist other members of the community who need financial, emotional and personal support.

A portion of the proceeds for this event will be donated to the Texas chapter of In Country Vietnam Motorcycle Club to help veterans in Texas.
