Cherokee Rose Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Reliant Rehabilitation are sponsoring an event aimed promoting Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.

The free educational event, which will held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, was designed to help interested individuals learn about Alzheimer’s Disease and the effects it has on patients and family members.

The class will be held at the Somervell County Citizens Center, located at 209 S.W. Barnard Street, and will provide family caregivers with information, guidance and training to assist them in caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease.
