Special to the Reporter

Swap & Shop will be held this Friday at the Citizenís Center. If youíve not stopped by the monthly Swap & Shop on the 3rd Friday of every month, youíve missed out on a lot of fun. The tables are only $5 to reserve a space for your wares. Itís nice if you would call ahead and reserve (897-2139) so you can be guaranteed a space.

The Paluxy Valley Archives and Genealogy Society has donated a picture of Glen Rose in the early 1900s to the Citizenís Center. It is large enough to be displayed on the mantel in the banquet room. We are currently taking donations to go toward the framing of this 25x37-inch picture. You may stop by or mail in your donation, just make sure and designate the funds to go toward the framing.

Thanks to Dan and Mary Baker for manning our table at the yearly health fair.

Activities at the Citizenís Center beginning Aug. 24: Wii games on Monday; ceramics and needlework on Tuesday; health screening and monthly birthday party on Wednesday; TOPS and Davidís grocery shopping on Thursday; bingo, quilting and Brookshireísí grocery shopping on Friday. Margie Hartsfields will be here to entertain us for the birthday party. If youíve been to some of the Erath and Hood County senior dances youíve probably heard Margie sing.
