?Are your vegetable and fruit plants failing to produce? Chances are they are lacking pollinators. Without insect pollination, many food plants grown in gardens cannot complete the pollination process and therefore will not produce fruits or vegetables.

Mark your calendars for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 14, when Somervell County Master Gardeners' will host the first Community Horticulture Education Series program of 2013.

Jack Brady, wildlife biologist and entomologist, will present a program on bumblebees and bugs, pollinators in your backyard. Brady will share tips for attracting pollinators and improving the pollination process.

The program, which will be presented at the Somervell County Citizens Center, is free and open to the public.
