The Somervell County Master Gardeners will sponsor a free community education program at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 8, at the Somervell County Citizens Center. The Lang sisters of Granbury will share tips on turning gourds into painted birdhouses and how they have sold more than 700 of them. Free refreshments and door prizes.

The Glen Rose Garden Club will hold its next monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 9. The group meets at the Somervell County Community Center, 107 Sheppard St. Tana Tomlinson from Plantistic Nursery will present a program on day lilies. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
