The Glen Rose Preservation Board was awarded a $2,000 Community Development Grant toward the reconstruction of the Deason tailor shop in Heritage Park. The tailor shop was formerly located on the downtown Glen Rose square. The local preservation group has commitments for more than 50 percent of the estimated $19,000 project. Construction is planned to begin this summer.
