Special to the Reporter

The Texas Master Gardeners Association has a range of sponsorships available to companies and agencies that want to help underwrite the group's state conference to be held next April in Glen Rose.

The conference, to be held April 27 to 29 at the Somervell County Exposition Center, is open to more than 6,500 Master Gardeners across the state.

Four levels of sponsorship — Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze — are available with complimentary benefits. For $5,000, Platinum sponsors received top billing at all major events, a special banner with the company's name, major recognition in media releases, a full-page advertisement in the program brochure and preferred exhibitor space with one table, if desired.

Gold sponsors, costing $2,500, receive a banner displayed with the company name, recognition in media releases, a half-page ad in the program brochure and exhibitor space with one table, if desired.

For $1,000, Silver sponsors receive recognition in media releases and Web sites and a quarter-page ad in the program brochure.

Bronze sponsorships, which cost $500, will get recognition on Web sites and a listing in the program.

For information about becoming a sponsor, contact Bob Lancaster at 898-2021 or at hardscrabblebob@windstream.net.

The Somervell County Master Gardeners and Lake Granbury Master Gardeners will co-host the conference. It's intended to equip and inform attendees with new ideas, technology and programs related to a variety of horticultural and agricultural topics.

“We expect this conference to also be fun and unique, offering a relaxed 'down home country' feeling with lots of entertainment and over 60 vendor spaces to browse and shop,” the Master Gardeners said in a news release.
