Arrests from the Somervell County Jail Log follow:

Matthew Glen Benton, 24, of Mineral Wells was arrested Oct. 5 for parole violation and driving with an invalid license.

Jonathan James Carr, 25, of Glen Rose was arrested Oct. 6 for assault to cause bodily injury/family violence.

Christina Lynette Caughey, 41, of Granbury was arrested Oct. 8 for public intoxication.

Jimmy Don Darch, 18, of Glen Rose was arrested Oct. 8 for contempt of court.

Jose Feregrino Jr., 22, of Meridian was arrested Oct. 6 for assault to cause bodily injury.

Charlotte Faye Goodnight, 58, of Granbury was arrested Oct. 7 for possession of marijuana, Hood County.

Edwardo Morales Juarez, 40, of Glen Rose was arrested Oct. 6 for sexual assault of a child/commitment.

Daniel Martinez, 19, of Glen Rose was arrested Oct. 9 for public intoxication.

Candais Yvonne McGill, 29, of Stephenville was arrested Oct. 6 for engaging in organized criminal activity.

Cassie Kay Miller, 36, of Granbury was arrested Oct. 6 for insufficient bond-manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance.

The Somervell County Sheriff's Department reported 57 total inmates are in custody and 140 total charges reported.

In the past week, there was one traffic accident with injuries, three accidents with no injuries, two vehicle hit-and-runs, one grass/brush fire, one structure fire and one vehicle fire at Comanche Peak.
