We would like to congratulate Welby Simpson on winning second place in the state doubles-class “A” horseshoe competition in Snyder last weekend. Last year, Welby won the NHPA World Tournament Division “D” in York, Penn., and first place in the state doubles class “A.” You might guess what Welby’s profession was, yep, you got it -a blacksmith.
