Post Oak Cemetery Association will meet on Saturday, July 19, at 2 p.m. at the cemetery. The association will unveil and dedicate a Texas Historical Marker for the Post Oak Community. All persons interested in the cemetery, school, church and community are urged to attend. The public is invited to join the celebration.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING - River Walk Committee for the City of Glen Rose will hold their meeting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, in Heritage Park on East Elm Street. They will discuss and tour the River Walk site with Michael Buckley of EHT Engineers, in order to determine what is envisioned for Phase I of the project.

“Gifted Together,” a social group for mentally and physically challenged adults, is forming in Gatesville. The first meeting is set for Saturday, July 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Gatesville, located at 206 S. 7th St. The group will meet on the third Saturday of each month and is open to all mentally and physically challenged persons 18 years old and older who live in the Central Texas area.
