The Somervell County Master Gardeners Association will host a Rainwater Harvesting?Seminar at 6:30 p.m. on June 9 at the Citizens Center. The seminar is open to the public and will feature Greg Marsh, a certified specialist, who will present a program on rainwater harvesting. Each participant will then have the opportunity to construct their own 32-gallon rainwater barrel to take home. A $20 fee for each participant is required. RSVP and fee are due by June 2. The Glen Rose Cemetery Association will hold its annual business meeting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 at the cemetery tabernacle located on the corner of Stadium Drive and Allen Street (next to the football stadium.) The Somervell County Library will hold its first summer reading program on June 3 at 10:30 a.m. The event will feature Nancy Burks, ventriloquist and puppeteer. All children of the community, along with their parents, are invited to attend.
